NUBRA VALLEY
The fertile valley of Nubra is reached by the world’s highest road, Khardong La (5610m) descending into Nubra. The lower altitude gives an impressive abundance of crops & fruit. Following the Shayok River, the landscape changes dramatical from lush pastures to desert sand dunes. Home of the double humped Bactrian Camel (a camel safari is possible).

INDUS VALLEY
This circuit follows the river Indus from Leh to Lamayuru.
- Begins at Stok, the royal palace and interesting museum.

Thanka. The world heritage centre of Alchi,a treasure box of ancient
